    Samsung's S21 FE is in the works; key details revealed

    What's the story

    After the success of the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung is now working to introduce its successor. A new Samsung handset with model number SM-G990B, believed to be the S21 FE, is in the works, according to SamMobile.

    The phone will come in two storage variants and four color options. It will support 5G network and run on Android-11'>Android 11.

    Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: At a glance

    Not much is known about the design and hardware of the S21 FE. However, it is expected to feature a punch-hole design with slim bezels and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will pack a triple camera module.

    The handset should offer a 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED screen and is tipped to come in White, Gray/Silver, Pink, and Violet color options.

    The Galaxy S21 FE is likely to retain S21's triple rear camera unit, which includes a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Up front, a 10MP shooter is expected.

    Under the hood

    The Galaxy S21 FE should be powered by the Snapdragon 888/Exynos 2100 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

    It will run on Android 11-based One UI 3.0 and is expected to house a 4,000mAh or bigger battery.

    For connectivity, the smartphone should offer support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a Type-C port.

    Presently, there is no information regarding the official launch and pricing details of the Galaxy S21 FE. However, reports suggest that it is expected to be introduced in the second quarter and should cost around Rs. 40,000.
