Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020) LTE goes official: Details here

Expanding its line-up of mid-budget tablets, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab A (2020) LTE. The tablet packs an octa-core chipset, a Full-HD+ screen, a 5,000mAh battery, and a single camera on both the front and back sides. The device is currently available in the US for Verizon users, and there is no official word on its availability in the international markets yet.

A look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020)

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020) sports a conventional rectangular design with slim bezels surrounding the screen. The tablet comes with an 8.4-inch LCD screen with a Full-HD+ (1200x1920 pixels) resolution. However, it misses out on biometric authentication and relies on passwords and patterns for secure unlocking. Moreover, the device is offered in a single color option: Mocha.

What's the camera like on Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020)?

In the imaging department, the Galaxy Tab A (2020) houses an 8MP single rear camera that is capable of recording Full-HD videos at 30fps. For the selfie lovers, there is a 5MP front-facing snapper.

A look at the internal hardware

The Galaxy Tab A (2020) draws power from an unnamed octa-core processor, presumably Exynos 7904. The company has paired this chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android Pie-based One UI and packs a 5,000mAh battery. Moreover, the tablet gets support for connectivity options like VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

    Pricing and availability

As far as pocket-pinch is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020) is priced at $279.99 (approximately Rs. 21,200). The tablet is currently available for purchase in the US for Verizon subscribers via Samsung's official website and shipping will start from March 27 onwards.
