Samsung has officially unveiled its latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold. The innovative device features a unique three-panel design that unfolds into a massive 10-inch screen. The company will first launch the device in South Korea on December 12, followed by a US release in Q1 2026. While pricing details are yet to be announced, it's expected to be on the higher end of Samsung's foldable range.

The Galaxy Z TriFold boasts an impressive 10-inch QXGA Dynamic AMOLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. It also features a 6.5-inch cover screen with an even brighter peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. This makes the device highly usable even in direct sunlight. The phone's dimensions are incredibly thin at just 3.9mm at its thinnest point (screen with the SIM tray), and weighs only 309gm.

The Galaxy Z TriFold comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the cover, a Titanium hinge, and an advanced armor aluminum frame. It also gets an IP48 rating, making it resistant to freshwater immersion but not dust-tight. The device packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm) processor, a 5,600mAh battery that supports 45W charging, capable of reaching up to 50% charge in about half an hour.

The Galaxy Z TriFold features a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP wide-angle sensor with optical quality zoom, an ultra-wide 12MP camera, and a telephoto lens. Both the cover screen and inner screen come with a 10MP selfie camera. The device runs on Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. It will be available in one colorway: Crafted Black.
