Study: about 80% ChatGPT chats practical, 70% personal by 2025
Technology
A new study says about 80% of ChatGPT conversations are for practical advice, information-seeking, or writing.
And by 2025, personal use is set to hit 70%, showing how AI is quickly becoming part of everyday routines, not just work stuff.
Editing leads professional ChatGPT requests
Editing tops the list for professional tasks on ChatGPT, while educational chats make up about 10%.
Coding requests are a smaller slice at just over 4%, but the tool still helps with decision making and problem solving across all kinds of fields.
The study also points out that nearly half of all messages come from people under 26, and more folks from lower- and middle-income countries are joining in.
Plus, the gender gap among users has almost evened out, so it's really becoming an AI for everyone.
