Vivo U20 to launch in India on November 22

As an addition to its U series of smartphones, Chinese tech giant Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo U20 in India. Now, a teaser page for the upcoming phone has gone live on Amazon, confirming the launch date for November 22. As per the teaser, the phone will pack Snapdragon 675 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. Here's our roundup.

Design and display
Vivo U20: At a glance

Going by the teaser, Vivo U20 will feature a familiar waterdrop notched design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel up front. On the rear, the phone will house a triple camera module with LED flash and a physical fingerprint sensor. It is likely to offer a 6.53-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Information
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

The triple rear camera setup on the Vivo U20 will reportedly comprise a 16MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera. Up front, the phone is likely to offer a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

Internals
What about internals?

The teaser confirms that the Vivo U20 will be powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Under the hood, the phone is likely to run Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.1 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Lastly, it should offer all standard connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and headphone jack.

Pricing
And, how much will it cost?

There is no official word on the pricing of Vivo U20 in India yet. However, looking at the specifications, we expect the phone to be priced upwards of Rs. 10,000. The smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon. Once launched, it will take on the likes of rivals such as Realme 5, Redmi Note 8, and OPPO A5 2020.
