Vivo V15 Pro receives Rs. 3,000 price cut in India
In a bid to attract more buyers, Chinese tech giant Vivo has slashed the prices of its premium mid-range handset, the Vivo V15 Pro, by Rs. 3,000. With the price revision, the handset is now available at a starting price of Rs. 23,990. The key highlights of the phone include an all-screen design, HD+ display, in-screen fingerprint sensor, and mid-level internals. Here's more.
With this price reduction, the entry-level 6GB/128GB variant of Vivo V15 Pro is available at Rs. 23,990 (previous price: Rs. 26,990) and the top model with 8GB/128GB configuration is now retailing at Rs. 26,990 (previous price: Rs. 29,990). Notably, the new prices are applicable on all major online retail channels such as Amazon and Flipkart.
To recall, Vivo V15 Pro features an all-screen notch-less and bezel-less look achieved by adopting a motorized pop-up selfie camera. On the rear, the gradient finished dual-tone panel houses vertically stacked triple cameras and an LED flash. The smartphone comes with 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080x2316 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 91.64% screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo V15 Pro packs a triple rear camera comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the handset sports a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter housed in a motorized pop-up module. Moreover, the main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Vivo V15 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The smartphone runs Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 and is backed by a 3,700mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Moreover, it gets all standard sensors and connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and headphone jack.
