Vivo Y19, featuring triple rear cameras, launched at Rs. 13,990
As an addition to its Y series of smartphones, Chinese tech giant Vivo has launched the Y19 handset in India at Rs. 13,990. The mid-range phone is currently up for grabs via leading brick and mortar stores, and it will become available via online sales channels starting November 20. The handset offers waterdrop notched design, triple rear cameras, physical fingerprint scanner, and mid-level internals.
As for the pocket pinch, the Vivo Y19 costs Rs. 13,990 for the solo 4GB/128GB variant. Notably, buyers can avail 5% cashback using HDFC and ICICI Bank cards, along with benefits worth Rs. 6,000 from Reliance Jio. Additionally, there is also a zero down-payment scheme via Bajaj Finance as well as HDFC Paper Finance, and no-cost EMI options for upto 12 months.
As far as its specifications are concerned, Y19 comes with a waterdrop notched design and a noticeable bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses vertically stacked triple camera unit and a physical fingerprint reader. It offers a 6.53-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it is offered in Magnetic Black and Spring White color options.
The Vivo Y19 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, it houses a 16MP (f/2.0) snapper for selfies, video calling, and face unlock. Also, both the front as well as rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Vivo Y19 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.2 and packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. In addition, the smartphone also gets a dedicated Ultra Game Mode for enhanced gaming experience.
The Vivo Y19 offers all latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack. It houses all standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, and e-compass.
