    What's the story

Xiaomi is set to launch a new camera-centric phone, the Mi CC9 Pro, in China on November 5.

Now, just days ahead of the launch, the handset has appeared on Chinese certification site TENAA, revealing its design and key specifications.

Going by the listing, the phone will sport a 108MP penta-lens rear camera setup, 32MP selfie snapper, AMOLED display, and mid-level internals.

    Here's more.

    Design and display

Mi CC9 Pro: At a glance

According to the listing, the Mi CC9 Pro will sport a familiar waterdrop notched design on the front, while on the rear, the gradient finished panel will house vertically stacked five cameras and quad-LED flash.

The phone will feature a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

    Cameras

The handset will offer 108MP penta-lens rear cameras

The five cameras on the Mi CC9 Pro will include a 108MP (f/1.7) main sensor, a 20MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera. This setup will be joined by another telephoto lens that will enable 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom.

On the front, the handset will sport a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Mi CC9 Pro will pack Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor, paired with upto 12GB of RAM and upto 256GB of internal storage.

Under the hood, it will run on Android Pie-based MIUI 11 and pack a 5,170mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.

Lastly, it should offer all latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Type-C port, and headphone jack.

    How much?

Finally, what will be the pricing?

As of now, there is no official word on the pricing of the Mi CC9 Pro, but several reports suggest that the phone could come at a starting price of around CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs. 30,200).

However, official details about the pricing and availability of the handset will be revealed by the company at the launch event on November 5.
