XOLO launches three selfie-focused budget smartphones
Lava International-owned homegrown smartphone maker XOLO has made a comeback in India by launching three new Era smartphones -XOLO Era 3, Era 2V, Era 3X- targeting selfie lovers. XOLO Era 3 costs Rs. 4,999, making it the most affordable of the three. XOLO Era 2V is priced at Rs. 6,499, and XOLO Era 3X costs Rs. 7,499. Find out what they have to offer!
XOLO's new smartphones would be sold exclusively on Flipkart online from 14 October. Interested people can also pre-order the phones on Flipkart. However, all three devices would be available only in black color. XOLO is offering free one-time screen replacement service with the three phones. It has also tied up with Reliance Jio to offer up to 25GB 4G data to the buyers.
XOLO Era 3X sports a 5.00-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and comes with 3000mAh battery. It has 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It houses 13MP front and rear cameras equipped with flash. It has a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
The new XOLO Era-series devices with 4G LTE support are aimed towards those obsessed with selfies. Their front-facing cameras are equipped with better imaging capabilities compared to the rear ones. Also, the selfie shooter comes with the "moonlight" flash for low-light imaging.
The XOLO Era 2V comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat similar to Era 3X. It also houses the same MediaTek MT6737 processor but has only 2GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage with 3000mAh battery. However, it has an 8MP front camera and a 13MP primary camera. It also has a rear fingerprint scanner.
Though it's priced at Rs. 4,999, XOLO Era 3 has some features similar to those of its siblings. It has the same 5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6737 chipset and runs Android Nougat too. However, it has only 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and a 2500mAh battery. It has 5MP cameras on the front and back; there is no fingerprint sensor on this device.
