    ISL 6 final: ATK beat Chennaiyin FC to win title

    ATK overcame Chennaiyin FC 3-1 to seal the sixth edition of the Indian Super League (ISL). The eastern giants rode on a brace from Javi Hernandez and Edu Garcia's goal to seal their third ISL title behind closed doors in Goa. With this win, ATK maintained their 100% record in finals of this competition. Here is the match summary.

    Hernandez gave ATK the lead in the 10th minute. The Spaniard hit the ball into the ground and the bounce did the rest. He beat a diving Vishal Kaith to the far corner after a special delivery from Roy Krishna. After half-time, David Williams sets up Edu Garcia for the second goal for ATK. Hernandez then killed off the game in injury-time.

    Valskis pulls one back for Chennaiyin in the 69th minute

    Nerijus Valskis pulled one back for Chennaiyin in the 69th minute. Jerry Lalrinzuala sent in a loopy ball from the right flank and a flying Valskis reached the ball and managed to beat keeper Arindam Bhattacharja. This was the 15th goal for Valskis, who went level with Roy Krishna.

    Crucial statistics from the ISL 2019-20 season

    Three players finished with 15 goals each in the season. Kerala Blasters' Bartholomew Ogbeche, ATK's Krishna and Chennaiyin's Valskis finished as the top goal-scorers. ATK finished with 38 goals in the season, whereas, Chennaiying ended up with 39. Bengaluru's goal-keeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu claimed the Golden Glove award.
