India equal record for most consecutive T20I wins: Key numbers
India defeated Sri Lanka in the third T20I to win the series 3-0 on Sunday. The Men in Blue claimed their 12th consecutive T20I win, the joint-most in the shortest format. It was their third back-to-back series sweep. Afghanistan and Romania have also won 12 successive T20Is. India's winning streak started during the T20 World Cup. Here are the key stats.

- India also beat Scotland and Namibia thereafter.
- They routed New Zealand, West Indies, and Sri Lanka 3-0 in the three-match series at home.
