What's the story

Gujarat Titans (GT) have become a force to reckon with in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They won the title on their first attempt, in 2022. After a disappointing eighth-place finish last year, with only five wins from 14 matches, the team is eager to return to its former glory. At the heart of this ambition is their decision to retain key players like Shubman Gill, Rahul Tewatia, Sai Sudarshan, Rashid Khan, and Shahrukh Khan.

Strengths

GT's strengths and weaknesses

The Titans have a strong top three in Gill, Jos Buttler, and Sai Sudharsan. Buttler's inclusion makes this batting order even more lethal, with the aggressive batter having a T20 record of more than 12,000 runs. The spin department is led by Rashid, the highest wicket-taker in T20s. GT boast a fiery fast-bowling attack spearheaded by Kagiso Rabada. They also have Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Gerald Coetzee. Their only concern will be the lack of experienced finishers.
