Dhoni welcomes back CSK in his own style
Former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni welcomed the team back to IPL after a two year suspension. Dhoni posted a photo of himself wearing the team's yellow colour jersey, with his number '7' printed on it, along with the Tamil word 'Thala', which translates to 'leader.' Having captained the team for eight years, Dhoni's gesture came as no surprise for the fans.
CSK, RR return to IPL after ban
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will return to the Indian Premier League in 2018, after serving a two year suspension which was handed by the Supreme Court appointed Justice Lodha Panel. The two teams were 'welcomed back' by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and will participate in the 11th edition of the tournament next year.

CSK rooting for MS Dhoni for next year's IPL season
Two time Indian Premier League champions Chennai Super Kings are looking to retain their star players and the support staff they had in 2015. However, on the top of their wish-list is their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has led the team since 2008. Apart from the two IPL titles, CSK have also won Champions League T20 twice.
CSK to start promotions soon?
George John, one of the directors of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited, said that while they have not spoken to Dhoni about the return yet, but they hope to start promotions soon to evoke the memories their glorious past in IPL.
