England's Will Jacks has broken a long-standing T20 World Cup record set by Misbah-ul-Haq in 2007. The record was for the most runs scored by a batsman batting at No.6 or lower in a single edition of the tournament. Jacks achieved this feat during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026. Will Jacks - 226 runs in 2026
Jacks's stellar performance in the 2026 event puts him atop this list. The all-rounder, who aced the finisher's role, ended his campaign with 226 runs from eight innings at 56.50 (50: 1). His strike rate was a brilliant 176.56. He has also contributed with the ball, taking nine wickets in this edition at 21.66. During the tourney, Jacks matched Australian legend Shane Watson's record for the most Player of the Match awards in a single T20 World Cup (4 each).

Misbah-ul-Haq - 218 runs in 2007
Misbah had scored 218 runs in the 2007 edition of the T20 World Cup, all while batting at No.6 or lower. Having batted seven times in that competition, the Pakistan star averaged 54.5 as his strike rate was 139.74. Misbah is the only batter to hammer multiple fifties while operating at No.6 or lower in a T20 WC edition (2). Notably, Pakistan finished as runners-up in the event, having lost the final to India.

Cameron White - 175 runs in 2010
No other batter has even 180 runs in this regard as Australia's Cameron White takes the third spot. Across six innings at these positions in the 2010 event, White scored 175 runs at a fine average of 43.75. His strike of 149.57 was also impressive, as the tally included a fifty. White's brilliance was instrumental to Australia's run to the final, where they lost to eventual champions England.
