Centuries from debutant Rahmanullah (113) and Sediqullah Atal (105) meant Afghanistan were well placed at 220/2 when Rahmat arrived to bat.

However, the fall of a few quick wickets reduced the team to 275/5.

Rahmat then powered his team with half-century stands alongside Ikram Alikhil (40) and Qais Ahmad (27).

These partnerships helped Afghanistan cross the 400-run mark as Rahmat brought up another fine hundred.
