Sri Lankan cricketer Ashen Bandara was arrested on March 8 for allegedly assaulting his neighbor.
The incident took place in Kolamunna, Piliyandala, after a dispute over a vehicle parked in a manner that blocked the road.
Bandara reportedly entered his neighbor's residence following the argument, and the verbal confrontation escalated into a physical one.
He has since been released on bail and is due to appear in court on March 12.

The Sri Lanka Police said a neighbor had complained against Bandara for creating disturbances and allegedly trespassing into someone's home.
According to the police, "The verbal confrontation had then escalated into a physical one."
The Lankan cricketer was arrested on suspicion of assault on Saturday night and was granted bail later that day.

If Bandara's alleged actions have brought the organization into disrepute, Sri Lanka Cricket's CEO Ashley de Silva said appropriate measures will be taken.
"We first need to look at the contract and also look at the incident," he said.
"If he is thought to have brought SLC into disrepute, then there is further action that we can take."
