The 2026 Women's Premier League (WPL) will be a historic event as it will feature its final on a weekday for the first time ever. The tournament is set to begin on January 9 and conclude with the final match on February 5. This year's edition also marks the first time that WPL will be held in January-February instead of February-March like previous seasons.

Tournament format and venues
The 28-day-long tournament will be played at two venues: Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. The first half, including two double-headers on Saturdays, will be held at Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium. The remaining matches, including the Eliminator on February 3 and the final on February 5, will take place at Vadodara's Kotambi Stadium. All games except those scheduled earlier on double-header days will start in the evening.

The 2026 WPL will not clash with any major international fixtures, a first for the tournament. The men's Under-19 World Cup will end the day after the WPL final on February 6, while the men's T20 World Cup will begin the next day.
