Artem Lytvyn airlifted by drone after 8 days in Kharkiv
World
A Ukrainian soldier named Artem Lytvyn was stuck on the battlefield after a landmine left him unable to walk in Kharkiv.
For eight days, his fellow soldiers sent him supplies by drone until he was finally airlifted out, also by drone, using a StarGate model that flew 29km under risky conditions.
Ukraine plans 1,000 StarGate drones monthly
This rescue marks a big step for using drones in emergencies. The StarGate drone, built by SkyFall, proved how technology can save lives even in tough situations.
With plans to build 1,000 of these drones every month, Ukraine is betting on innovation to help protect its soldiers and adapt to modern warfare.
