Network discovery
Preliminary investigations reveal connections to Pakistan-based terror groups
Preliminary investigations into the Delhi blast have revealed a connection to a "white-collar terror network." This network allegedly had ties with Pakistan-based groups Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH). The network, which reportedly included doctors and clerics, was busted after coordinated operations from October 19 to November 10, 2025. These operations led to the seizure of 2,921kg of explosives and several arrests.
Cabinet directive
Blast designated as 'error incident'
Hours after the seizure, a car driven by one of the suspects, Dr. Umar Nabi, exploded at a traffic signal near Red Fort. The blast has been designated as a "terror incident" by the Indian government. "The country has witnessed a heinous terror incident, perpetrated by antinational forces," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet on Wednesday. It said that an investigation had been launched so "perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors are identified and brought to justice without delay."
