Preston firefighters attacked with fireworks while tackling Bonfire Night blaze

On Bonfire Night in Lancashire, UK firefighters trying to control a blaze in Preston were suddenly targeted with fireworks.
Luckily, no one was hurt, but emergency crews called out the attack for putting both themselves and locals at risk.
Jon Charters condemns attack, 14-year-old arrested
Chief Fire Officer Jon Charters called the attack "This was reckless, dangerous and utterly unacceptable," warning it could stop crews from saving lives.
Police arrested a 14-year-old boy (now out on bail), and Charters is urging everyone, especially parents, to help keep emergency workers safe so they can do their jobs without fear.
