Trump names Stephen Miller White House chief of staff
Donald Trump just named Stephen Miller his new White House chief of staff, shaking things up after the Republicans's rough midterm results.
Miller, who's been advising Trump since 2016 and is known for his tough stance on immigration, takes over from Susie Wiles.
Wiles called her time in the role "the honor of a lifetime" and said she's still committed to Trump.
Stephen Miller to push Trump's agenda
Miller isn't just about immigration: he's also had a big hand in foreign policy, backing U.S.-Israel actions against Iran and strongly supporting Trump's agenda.
Some Democrats are criticizing the move, saying it signals more divisive tactics ahead.
Still, with his deep knowledge of how things run in Washington, Miller is expected to help push through key policies as Trump heads into the rest of his term.
