What's the story

Japanese automaker Honda has unveiled the 2020 edition of its maxi-scooter, the Forza 300, for international markets. The new scooter retains the mechanical specifications of the outgoing model but comes with a special grey-black variant, which is limited to just 100 units. Reportedly, it would be launched in India sometime in 2021. Here are more details.

Design

A look at the 2020 Honda Forza 300

The Forza 300 gets an attractive sporty design featuring a beefy-looking front apron with mounted LED headlights as well as turn indicators, and a power-adjustable transparent windscreen. The scooter gets a semi-digital instrument cluster, blacked-out alloy wheels, and an angular-looking side profile. Further, the limited-edition model comes with a leather seat with contrasting red stitching, and red-colored accents around the alloy wheels.

Internals

Power and performance

The 2020 Honda Forza 300 is powered by a Euro-IV-compliant (equivalent to BS4) 279cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of producing 25PS of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. However, the company will launch the scooter in India with a BS6-ready engine which is likely to generate similar power as its BS4 counterpart.
