2022 KTM RC 390 officially listed in India; launch soon
Austrian automaker KTM has listed the 2022 iteration of its RC 390 motorcycle on its official Indian website, hinting at its imminent launch. As for the highlights, the bike will have an aggressive look and shall offer many features, including a traction control system. It will draw power from a BS6-compliant 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 42.9hp of power.

The 2022 KTM RC 390 will sit on a steel trellis frame and have a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, fairing-mounted mirrors, a raised windscreen, and a side-slung exhaust. The bike will pack a single-pod projector headlight, an LED taillamp, a TFT instrument console, and will ride on alloy wheels. It will store 13.7 liters of fuel and weigh 155kg.
The new KTM RC 390 will run on a BS6-compliant 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 42.9hp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
In terms of safety equipment, the 2022 KTM RC 390 will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with cornering ABS and traction control for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorbike will be taken care of by WP APEX 43mm forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.
In India, the 2022 version of the KTM RC 390 will sport a price figure of Rs. 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The premium two-wheeler is tipped to be up for grabs in the country within the next few days.
