What's the story

BMW has launched a special edition of the Alpina XB7 SUV, marking the end of production for this model. The new variant is called the "Alpina XB7 Manufaktur," and only 120 units will be made. Each unit will be available in two color options: Frozen Alpina Green or Frozen Alpina Blue. The exterior trim is all-black instead of the usual bright silver, with an elaborate black pinstripe on the body side.

Unique attributes

The SUV features Tartufo Merino leather upholstery

The Alpina XB7 Manufaktur comes with 23-inch forged 20-spoke Alpina rims, exclusive badging on the liftgate, and a laser-etched logo on the B-pillars. The interior is lined with Tartufo Merino leather in a color called Walnut Nature Black. Special Alpina embroidery adorns the headrests and a "1 of 120" plaque sits on the center console. Second-row captain's chairs are standard along with a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround-sound stereo system.

Engine

It is backed by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine

The Alpina XB7 Manufaktur is powered by a 631hp twin-turbo V8 engine, the same as the standard XB7 model. The SUV can go from 0-97km/h in just 3.9 seconds. An air suspension system that lowers the XB7 by 1.6-inch for better handling is also standard on this special edition car.
