BYD brings Denza Z9 GT and D9 MPV to India
BYD, the Chinese EV giant, is bringing its premium Denza brand to India later this year.
The first models, the sporty Z9 GT fastback and the spacious D9 MPV, will launch in the Delhi-NCR and Mumbai regions.
Both are fully imported and aimed at buyers looking for something a bit more exclusive on Indian roads.
Z9 GT 1,156hp D9 MPV ₹80L
The Denza Z9 GT is all about performance: three motors, 1,156hp, a 600km range, and it can go from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.7 seconds, plus super-fast charging that gets you almost full in nine minutes.
The D9 MPV is more of a luxury family ride with seven seats (including center captain seats), a smooth 520km range, and lots of tech touches inside.
Prices start around ₹80 lakh for the D9 MPV and go up to ₹1.5 crore for the Z9 GT, with Denza promising exclusive showrooms and a personalized experience for Indian buyers looking to stand out.
