Hyundai delays Atria to late 2029, partners with NVIDIA

Hyundai is pushing back its own driver-assist software, Atria, to late 2029, two years later than planned.
While they work out the kinks, Hyundai will partner with NVIDIA to roll out advanced Level 2+ and Level 2++ driver-assist features by 2028, using the data to refine Atria.

The driving data from these new systems will help Hyundai improve Atria so it can better compete with Tesla and Chinese rivals.
Hyundai and affiliate Kia Corp. with annual sales exceeding 7 million vehicles, hopes to collect more real-world information than anyone else by 2033.
Plus, their collaboration with NVIDIA goes beyond just driving tech, they're also working together on AI and robotics to boost future innovation.
