Mercedes-AMG reveals interior of all-electric GT 4-door coupe
Mercedes-AMG just pulled the wraps off the inside of AMG's first purpose-built electric GT four-door Coupe, drawing on AMG concept-vehicle design cues.
The car is set to hit roads before the end of 2026; Mercedes-AMG says the electric model will coexist with gasoline and hybrid versions (rather than replace them).
Three big screens up front
Inside, you get a seriously futuristic vibe: three big screens up front, according to Mercedes-AMG, a 10.2-inch instrument cluster flanked by two 14-inch displays, with the center infotainment screen angled toward the driver.
Three rotary knobs let you tweak motor response, traction control (with nine levels), and cornering feel.
Climate controls are built right into the main screen, and there's even a rear console display for backseat passengers.
Concept demonstrated ultra-fast charging
Underneath all that tech is some serious power: more than 1,000 kW peak output lets it blast past 360km per hour.
The GT XX concept demonstrated ultra-fast charging (about 850 kW) that could add roughly 400km of range in about 5 minutes, pretty handy if you're in a rush.
The top model will use AMG's new platform with three advanced motors, and an SUV version is expected to follow, likely in 2027.
