Mercedes-AMG to launch more than 27 cars, targets 200,000 sales
Mercedes-AMG just announced it is rolling out more than 27 new cars over the next three years, aiming to catch up with BMW M's sales numbers.
Its goal? Boost annual sales from 145,000 cars in 2025 to a solid 200,000 by the end of the decade.
AMG cuts engine options to 4
AMG's lineup is getting a refresh: think G63 Convertible, GT Black Series, a 6-cylinder C53, and an all-electric SUV based on the GT platform.
CEO Michael Schiebe shared that it is cutting its engine options down from 10 to just four (with upgraded 6-cylinder engines and V8s), making things simpler and more powerful.
Plus, with electric versions like the next-generation E-Class EV launching in early 2028 alongside traditional engines later on, AMG is clearly gearing up for both speed fans and eco-minded drivers.
