    What's the story

Homegrown automaker Mahindra has recently announced a price revision for its Bolero Neo SUV in India, with an increase of up to ₹14,000.

The three-row SUV now starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹9.95 lakh.

This price hike specifically impacts the N4 and N8 variants of the vehicle, which have seen increases of ₹5,000 and ₹14,000 respectively.

    Stable prices

Certain variants unaffected by price hike

Despite the recent price revision, the prices for the N10 and N10 (O) variants of Mahindra Bolero Neo remain unchanged.

The SUV is available in four different trims: N4, N8, N10, and N10 (O).

The price increase has only affected the lower-end models - the N4 and N8.

    Vehicle specs

    Engine and off-road capabilities

The Bolero Neo is equipped with a 1.5-liter diesel engine, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

This engine can produce 100hp and a peak torque of 260Nm.

All variants come standard with Rear Wheel Drive (RWD). However, the top-end N10 (O) variant also features multi-terrain technology for enhanced off-road capabilities.

    Safety rating

Bolero Neo's disappointing crash test results

In related news, the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP) recently released crash test results for the Mahindra Bolero Neo. The SUV scored a disappointing one star in these tests. This rating provides potential buyers with crucial information about the vehicle's safety performance.
