    Why does this story matter?

Due to rising input costs, almost all automakers in India are increasing the prices of their models and Bajaj Auto is no exception. The Avenger Cruise 220, Dominar 250, and Dominar 400 have been up for grabs here for a long time and are part of a very competitive segment. Hence, their rising prices may prompt buyers to look for motorbikes from other brands.

The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, high-set handlebars, a digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, an LED taillight, and spoked wheels. It draws power from a 220cc, fuel-injected engine that makes 18.76hp/17.5Nm, and is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. A front disc brake, a rear drum brake, and single-channel ABS ensure the safety of the passengers.

The former runs on a 248.77cc engine that generates 26.6hp/23.5Nm, while the latter is fueled by a 373.3cc motor that puts out 39.4hp/35Nm. For the passengers' safety, there are disc brakes on both the wheels and dual-channel ABS.
