What's the story

Royal Enfield has officially revealed the Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025, a modern take on one of the oldest motorcycles in the world. The Bullet, which first debuted in 1932, has been in continuous production for over nine decades. The new model combines its vintage charm with modern refinement and is powered by Royal Enfield's popular 650cc parallel-twin engine.

Engine specs

The motorcycle draws power from a parallel-twin engine

The Bullet 650 is powered by a parallel-twin, SOHC engine with a 270-degree crankshaft. It churns out an impressive 46.4hp at 7,250rpm and peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. The motorcycle comes with a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch for smooth gear transitions. It has a wheelbase of 1,475mm and ground clearance of 154mm.

Design elements

It retains its signature silhouette with teardrop tank

The Bullet 650 retains its signature silhouette with a teardrop tank, hand-painted Madras pinstripes, and the iconic winged RE badge. The retro-style tiger-eye pilot lamps, which debuted in 1954, have also made a comeback on this model. A steel tubular spine frame provides strength and stability while Showa suspension ensures a smooth ride. The motorcycle rides on spoked wheels measuring 19-inch at front and 18-inch at rear.

Tech features

It comes with an analog-digital instrument cluster

The Bullet 650 comes with a new instrument cluster that combines analog and digital elements. It shows fuel level, trip meter, and odometer for added convenience. The motorcycle also boasts a plush bench seat, raised handlebars, and an upright stance for superior riding comfort. It will be available in two premium color options: Cannon Black and Battleship Blue.
