Tesla India offers ₹3 lakh exchange bonus on Model Y
Tesla India just dropped some tempting offers to make the Model Y more accessible.
Their new "EV Switch & Save Program" offers an exchange bonus of up to ₹3 lakh if you swap your petrol or diesel car for a Model Y RWD.
It's all about helping more people switch to EVs and boosting Tesla's presence in India.
You can now take home a Model Y on ₹49,000/month
You can now get the Model Y with EMIs starting at ₹49,000/month (with a ₹6 lakh down payment).
Factor in savings on fuel and maintenance—about ₹20,000/month—and your effective monthly cost drops to ₹29,000.
There are also discounts up to ₹2 lakh on select unsold cars, plus a free home wall charger that costs just ₹1 per km to use.
Prices of the Model Y start at ₹59.89 lakh
The Model Y starts at ₹59.89 lakh (base) and goes up to ₹67.89 lakh (Long Range RWD).
Tesla operates experience centers in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, and has installed superchargers and destination chargers across these cities.
Just 225 units of the Model Y were sold last year
With only 225 units of the Model Y sold last year (i.e., in 2025)—thanks mostly to sky-high import duties pushing prices close to $70k—Tesla's hoping these offers will clear out unsold stock and finally get more Indian drivers behind the wheel of a Model Y.
