A91 Partners cashes out nearly ₹445cr from Atomberg, retains 21.02%
Business
A91 Partners is cashing out nearly ₹445 crore from its investment in Atomberg Technologies just before the company's IPO.
The firm has been backing Atomberg since 2019, and even after this sale, it will still own 21.02% of the company.
Atomberg IPO includes ₹450cr new issue
Atomberg's IPO will offer both new shares (worth ₹450 crore) and existing ones, so current investors get some returns too.
Since 2019, shareholders have already raised about ₹683 crore by selling stakes, including founders Manoj Meena and Sibabrata Das, trimming their holdings.
The money from the IPO will help Atomberg pay off debt, boost its brand, and fund new products beyond fans, think mixer grinders and water purifiers.
