Air India is teaming up with The Aviation Management Limited (TAM Group) as its official sales agent across mainland China, starting December 1, 2025.
This move is all about making it easier for travelers in China to book tickets and get support, as TAM will handle reservations, ticketing, and marketing for the airline.
Direct flights making a comeback
Air India's bringing back its non-stop Delhi-Shanghai flights from February 2026 after six years away—and there are plans for Mumbai-Shanghai flights later that year too (pending approvals).
With a growing fleet and TAM's local know-how, Air India hopes to make travel smoother for everyone, especially with more connections between Asia and places like Europe and North America.
