Amazon wants India's exports to hit $80 billion by 2030
Amazon just set a huge new goal: it wants Indian sellers to boost their exports from $20 billion to $80 billion by 2030.
After helping over 200,000 sellers reach buyers in more than 200 countries since 2015, Amazon is doubling down on making India a global export powerhouse.
How they're making it happen
Amazon's putting AI to work—automating cataloging, video creation, marketing asset design, demand forecasting, supply-chain planning, and advertising optimisation—so even small-town creators and digital brands can sell worldwide with reduced effort and cost.
Plus, they're investing another $35 billion in India by 2030 (on top of the $40 billion already spent), which means better logistics, more cloud services, and about a million new jobs.
Why this matters for Indian sellers
By connecting sellers to over 200 international markets, Amazon helps them avoid relying on just one country—so if trade tensions or tariffs pop up somewhere, business keeps moving.
It's a smart way for Indian exporters to stay flexible and resilient in an unpredictable world.
