Anuj Sharma, Xiaomi India's chief marketing officer, is leaving the company after nearly eight years: his last day is June 30.
He kicked off his journey in 2018 with a massive Redmi Note 6 Pro launch and now says goodbye, reflecting fondly on his time and achievements.
Anuj Sharma helped POCO become independent
Sharma shared that his exit wasn't sudden; he'd planned it ahead.
While he hasn't revealed what's next for him, he still believes in Xiaomi's growth and holds equity in the company.
During his tenure, he helped POCO become independent in 2020 and guided Xiaomi through tough times after Manu left in 2022.
He also named Gautam, Ritij, and Sandeep as leaders to watch as Xiaomi gears up to enter the large appliances market by 2026.
