Chandigarh police have arrested accountant Sahil Kukkar after uncovering a massive ₹83 crore fraud in the CREST project.
Kukkar, along with project director Sukhwinder Singh Abrol (arrested earlier), is accused of moving huge sums into shell companies and couldn't explain these suspicious transfers.

Investigators found that funds were quietly funneled into personal accounts and real estate, using fake companies linked to officials from Chandigarh Smart City Limited.
Six people, including bank staff, are now behind bars as police dig deeper to track down everyone involved and recover the missing money.
