Investment approach
White House insists no conflicts of interest
The White House has maintained that there are no conflicts of interest as Trump's investments are independently managed.
Davis Ingle, a spokesman for the White House, said in a statement that "all holdings are maintained in discretionary accounts and invested through computer-based model portfolios that automatically replicate recognized indexes."
He added that neither President Trump nor his family can influence how the portfolio is invested or when investments are bought/sold.
