EaseMyTrip launches 'Shop on Wheels's EV vans for 200,000 panchayats
EaseMyTrip, teaming up with NSDC and Sanatan AI, is launching "1 Panchayat - 1 Pandit - SANATANAI Shop on Wheels by EMT," a plan to bring mobile electric vehicle service hubs to 200,000 panchayats over the next five years.
These EV vans will make it easier for people in small towns and villages to book poojas, plan religious trips, or even get virtual darshan right where they live.
EaseMyTrip offers MUDRA-linked financing and training
This initiative isn't just about services; it's also creating opportunities for Pandits, Pujaris, and Sanskrit-trained youth by training them as certified micro-entrepreneurs and facilitating financing through a MUDRA-linked framework.
The announcement got investors excited too—EaseMyTrip's stock jumped nearly 10% after the news.
Founder Nishant Pitti says the goal is to give traditional service providers better skills and access to a wider market.
