The first-ever ET AI Conclave & Awards 2025 concluded on March 9, 2026 in Bengaluru, bringing together over 250 leaders to talk all things AI and celebrate standout innovators.
From 'digital colonialism' to India's GPU shortage
Speakers dove into India's big AI opportunities and challenges, like the country having only about 50,000 to 60,000 GPUs compared to global heavyweights.
Paras Chopra (LossFunk) argued that solving extremely hard problems is key for India to stand out, while Vivek Raghavan (Sarvam AI) warned against 'digital colonialism' and urged building auditable, sovereign models.
Dr. Vishal Sikka led the jury as they looked for organizations moving from small experiments to real-world impact across startups, SMEs, and big enterprises.

Vivek Raghavan was named "AI for India Leader," while Naveen Tewari grabbed the "AI Entrepreneur" title.
