As IMD president David Bach put it, "Today, it is much more about security and reliability," while Manny Maceda, chair, Bain & Co. pointed out that businesses are juggling tougher rules and rapid tech changes just to keep up.
India praised for tech, market potential
India got a lot of love at the forum for its booming tech scene and engineering talent.
General Atomics Global Corporation CEO Vivek Lall called out India's strong R&D chops, especially in defense and aerospace.
Marriott International president and CEO Anthony Capuano even predicted India will soon be its third-biggest market as it expands into 100 cities next year.
Panelists also agreed: staying ahead means blending AI with real human skills to drive innovation worldwide.
