Flipkart fines sellers ₹30-₹90 for late dispatches and cancelations

Flipkart is rolling out new fines for sellers who miss dispatch deadlines or cancel orders, just in time for the festive shopping rush.
Starting August 23, 2026, sellers will face charges between ₹30 and ₹60 per shipment if they don't stick to timelines or cancel orders after it is placed.
If a seller misses the dispatch-by date, the penalty jumps to ₹90.
Executives say small sellers could suffer
Executives said that these stricter rules could hit small brands and individual sellers hardest, ahead of the festive season.
