GoKwik report: WhatsApp boosts India's D2C sales and 1st-time buyers

According to a GoKwik report, 83% of orders placed via WhatsApp during the October-December festive quarter came from first-timers.
Brands using WhatsApp marketing tools saw their sales grow more than twice as fast as those sticking to old methods.

Chirag Taneja, co-founder and chief executive officer of GoKwik, points out that these tailored reminders and loyalty nudges get an average click rate of 11.1%, much higher than standard broadcasts.
