ICICI Bank credit card fees and perks are changing from 2026
Heads up, ICICI credit card users: starting January 15, 2026, the bank is rolling out new charges and tweaks to popular benefits.
Expect a 1% fee on wallet loads of ₹5,000+ and on big transportation spends over ₹50,000.
These updates will affect most retail cardholders and will be phased in by February.
What else is changing?
The BookMyShow Buy-One-Get-One offer now needs you to spend at least ₹25,000 in the previous quarter to qualify.
Reward points on high-value transport spends are getting capped—up to ₹20,000/month for premium cards like Emeralde, Sapphiro, Rubyx; up to ₹10,000 for Coral and similar cards.
Online gaming transactions (think Dream11 or MPL) will have a new 2% fee.
Plus, Emeralde Metal users face higher forex conversion fees and fewer ways to earn points.
ICICI suggests reviewing these changes so there aren't any surprises next year!
