Business

IKEA India just clocked a 6% sales jump in FY25, reaching ₹1,860.8 crore.
Thanks to new-format stores in Delhi and Bengaluru, fresh store formats, and a big boost—34%—in online shopping, supported by the company's entry into North India through e-commerce and new-format stores in Delhi and Bengaluru, the brand served about 110 million customers.

What sold the most?

Furniture led the charge with classics like the BRIMNES Day Bed and BILLY Bookcase selling over 130% more than last year.
Everyday essentials stayed popular too, while food made up nearly 10% of revenue.
The B2B side also grew by 20%, now making up almost a fifth of total sales.

What's next for the Swedish giant?

IKEA's already got flagship spots in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi—and Pune is next on their list.
They're aiming to turn profitable within two years as India's home furnishing market heads toward a massive $48 billion by 2030.
