Reliance Jio Effect: Telecom operators roll out cheap data plans
When Reliance Jio launched last year, it took the telecom sector by storm. It is disrupting the market with one move after another, first with preview offer and now cheaper 4G data rates. Other operators are slashing tariffs to keep up with Jio's rates; however, users are enjoying cheaper data, thanks to the data tariff war! Here are the best plans currently being offered!
Reliance Jio's new data tariff plans
Reliance Jio recently revised its affordable Dhan Dhana Dhan plans. At Rs. 309, it now offers 56GB of 4G data with a 1GB FUP and unlimited calling for 56 days. Another plan at Rs. 399 with a validity of 84 days offers 84GB of 4G data and free calls with a 1GB daily limit. Both the plans are available only for Jio Prime subscribers.
Best data and voice plans being offered by Airtel
Airtel has launched some amazing offers, including carrying forward unused data feature. Its new Rs. 549 plan offers 70GB 4G data with a 2.5GB daily limit for 28 days. Another plan, priced at Rs. 244, provides 28GB 4G data with 1GB limit per day and 28 days validity. Both the plans also offer free unlimited calling. However, they are available only for Delhi-NCR customers.
Aircel's plan much cheaper than Jio's
Aircel rolled out a plan that is quite similar to Jio's Rs. 399 plan; the only catch is it offers data at 3G speed. For Rs. 348, users get 84GB data with a daily usage limit of 1GB and a validity of 84 days. They can also enjoy free unlimited voice calls; however, the plan is available only in UP-East circle.
