India is about to wrap up trade agreements with Oman and New Zealand, according to Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
Talks with Oman have nearly finished after over a year of negotiations, while New Zealand's Trade Minister is heading to Delhi on December 12 for FTA negotiations, as they are also reaching the last phase.

India isn't stopping there—it's also working on trade deals with Israel, the Maldives, Qatar, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
All these moves are part of India's push to boost global ties and exports—which hit a record $825.25 billion in the 2024-25 financial year.
