Lenskart, the popular eyewear company, has seen some big investors cash out recently. Since June 2026, stakes worth around ₹9,660 crore (over $1 billion) have been sold.
SoftBank just sold a chunk of shares for over $300 million, trimming its stake from 9.69% to about 7.15%.
Temasek ADIA sell, institutions show interest
Major players like Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Temasek also sold shares for around ₹1,960 crore and around ₹1,940 crore, respectively.
But even with these exits, Lenskart is still attracting institutional buyers like Societe Generale and SBI Mutual Fund.
The company's financials look strong too: Q1 FY2027 saw revenue jump 43% year-over-year to ₹2,714 crore and profits hit ₹228 crore, so it seems Lenskart's fundamentals are holding up despite the shake-up.
