Jeff Bezos at VivaTech says AI will create labor shortage
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos just shared his take on AI at VivaTech in Paris, and it's a bit different from what you usually hear.
Instead of fearing job cuts, he believes AI will actually create more opportunities, so many that we might end up with a shortage of workers.
As he put it, "I totally disagree with this point of view. And I think, in fact, AI is going to create a labor shortage."
Bezos unveils Prometheus to boost manufacturing
Bezos also introduced Prometheus, his new AI project aimed at speeding up manufacturing and boosting productivity.
He stressed that the goal isn't to replace people but to empower them with smarter tech.
While many worry about AI taking jobs (especially after recent layoffs linked to automation), Bezos is optimistic: he even talked about using advanced technology to solve big problems like pollution by moving heavy industries into space.
