Musk: SpaceX government contracts under 10% then 5% next year
Elon Musk just shared that SpaceX expects government contracts to account for less than 10% of its revenue this upcoming quarter, with that share shrinking to 5% over the next year.
This shift comes after recent US elections changed the political landscape, but Musk says SpaceX is ready to adapt and still offers solid value for NASA and Pentagon launches.
Tesla and SpaceX lose over $450B
With investors nervous after the elections, Tesla and SpaceX had shed more than $450 billion in combined market value over the two days following the election.
On the bright side, AI company Anthropic has stepped up as SpaceX's biggest customer, planning to spend up to $120.5 billion by 2029.
Meanwhile, Democrats are reportedly looking into tech giants, so things could get even more interesting for Musk.
